THE “surprised” buffalo statue that sent social media abuzz recently is in fact, an old landmark of Serian, Sarawak.
It was made to understand that the statue was recently repainted and its photo has attracted a lot of attention among netizens.
According to a news report, the buffalo statue, with peculiar features of eyes wide open and white teeth showing, has been one of the landscaping features in the town for many years.
The buffalo statue, along with a tiger statue, are located next to the Taman Komuniti Serian.
However, the tiger statue with a big smiling face is no longer there after the Taman Komuniti Serian underwent refurbishment work.
