Dalai Lama’s viral “suck my tongue” video recently went viral all over the world and had a lot of people stunned. He has since apologised via an official statement which was shared on his Twitter page, citing that he was just being playful as he always has been.
Many of you might not be aware of Dalai Lama’s conversation with famous pop singer, Lady Gaga back in 2016 when both of them spoke about kindness during a conference. An old clip of the conference has recently resurfaced online following the incident involving Dalai Lama and a boy who just wanted a hug.
While a conversation about kindness sounds soothing and heartwarming, the old clip that went viral again focuses on how Dalai Lama randomly tickled Lady Gaga on her knees, which prompted the pop star herself, as well as the audience to laugh.
A tickled Lady Gaga then held Dalai Lama’s hand while laughing. She knew he was teasing her for wearing those ripped jeans!
In June 2016, Lady Gaga posted on her Facebook and said that Dalai Lama and her were going to discuss creating a world with more compassion at The United States Conference of Mayors.
Topics such as humanity, mental health, and toxicity were also discussed when both met 7 years ago.

Inappropriate, or playful?
While Dalai Lama’s recent issue with a young boy received major criticisms around the world, his clip with Lady Gaga has seen a bit of a mixed reaction. This is because many agreed that Dalai Lama was behaving inappropriately, while others thought that the spiritual leader was simply being playful.
A netizen pointed out that Dalai Lama was hinting at Gaga’s ‘torn’ attire, hence the tickle.
Another netizen said that he was being playful and funny like a kid.
