- American pop singer Olivia Rodrigo has been integrated into the popular video game Fortnite as a non-playable character (NPC).
- Her appearance in the game's Battle Royale mode, starting Friday at 1am, follows the release of her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love.
- Players can acquire outfits inspired by her album Sour, alongside emotes based on her hit songs “Good 4 U” and “Maggots For Brains”.
- Three of her tracks – “Maggots For Brains”, “Drop Dead”, and “Deja Vu” – are also being added as “Jam Tracks”, which can be sung along to on Fortnite Festival Karaoke.
- In separate news, Rodrigo announced Daisy Chain Fields, an all-women festival on 29 August in Irvine, California, with all proceeds benefiting charities for women and girls.
