MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Ombudsman is seeking a precautionary Hold Departure Order (PHDO) from the Sandiganbayan against Sen. Francis Escudero and his alleged bagman.

The Ombudsman filed on Saturday the Verified Ex Parte Application for the issuance of a PHDO.

There is no case filed before the Sandiganbayan against Escudero or Maynard Ngu, the tech billionaire who was reported to have funded the senator's campaign.
