Omonia coach Neil Lennon hailed his goalkeeper Francis Uzoho after their Europa League defeat at Manchester United.

Uzoho saved 11 from 12 shots in the 1-0 loss.

Lennon said: “Very proud of the team. The man to the left of me [goalkeeper Francis Uzoho] was outstanding. He was inspiring. When you play a team of this calibre you need your goalkeeper to play well and he was world-class. I was so happy for him.

"We were a few minutes away from one of the greatest results in this club's history. There are so many things I'm happy with but there's a few sides of the game we could have done better. Overall we were feeding off scraps.

"I'm disappointed with our ball retention at times but I'm so proud of the way they defended the box."
