
- One victim has died and two others are injured after a gunman attacked Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, Thursday.
- The shooter, who also died, opened fire just before 10:49 a.m. in Constant Hall, an academic building on the campus.
- Police initially said there were two victims but they later learned a third victim brought themself to the hospital. Two surviving victims were said to be stable.
- Two victims are members of the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) at ODU, a spokesperson said.
- Old Dominion University cancelled classes and operations for the remainder of the day as the investigation into the shooting continues.
