
KOTA MARUDU: A man died, while five others were injured, including three children when the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a road accident along Jalan Manggaris near here on Sunday.
In the 8.30am incident, the deceased was a 52-year-old driver of a Proton Saga who died at the scene, while the five injured people were the driver and passengers of a Mitsubishi Triton.
District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Hasbi Hajat said the deceased was handed over to the police for further action, while the other injured victims were sent to Kota Marudu Hospital for treatment.
