The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Haryana, has opened the centralised online admission portal for undergraduate courses for the academic session 2026-27, initiating the admission process for colleges across the state.

The online registration process will remain open till May 31, allowing students to apply for BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA and other undergraduate programmes offered in government colleges, government-aided colleges and self-financing private colleges in Haryana.

Officials said the admission process has been designed as a fully digital and merit-based system in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to ensure transparency, efficiency and equal access for students.

Hundreds of colleges across the state have already updated details regarding courses, seat matrix, fee structure and subject combinations on the official admission portal to provide real-time information to applicants.

Sources said Haryana has around 187 government colleges, 96 aided colleges and nearly an equal number of private colleges participating in the admission process.

As per the schedule released by the department, applicants will be allowed to edit their forms through OTP-based verification till June 1. The list of applicants along with objections or discrepancies, if any, will be displayed on June 2.

Online document verification by colleges and correction of discrepancies through student login will continue from May 9 to June 6, while the list of eligible applicants for merit lists will be displayed on June 8.

In Phase 1, the provisional merit list for the first round of counselling will be released on June 10, followed by the final merit list on June 11. Students selected in the first round will have to deposit fees between June 12 and June 15. For Phase 2, the provisional merit list for the second round of counselling will be displayed on June 16 and the final list on June 17.
