Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan (Warisan) will consider fielding new member Bandau Assemblyman Datuk Wetrom Bahanda for the Kota Marudu seat, said its President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
It was reported on Sunday that Wetrom defected from the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition and expressed hope to contest the Kota Marudu parliamentary seat under Warisan’s ticket.
“We will look into it. What is important for is (to field) a winnable candidate. There is no point fielding candidates A, B, C or D if they cannot win.
