While the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has long been recognised as one of the most famed airports in the world, its facilities sadly don’t necessarily reflect its prestigious position.

A video on Xiaohongshu (XHS) recently showed water pouring right through the roof at KLIA 1 during the current monsoon season, amusing netizens and displaying the deep need for repairs to be done.

She also added that the video was taken last Sunday (Dec 8).

‘Like the waterfall inside Changi Airport’

In the comment section, netizens couldn’t help but to be tickled by the sight of KLIA 1 getting flooded and left humourous remarks about it.

‘Both KLIA 1 and Singapore’s Changi Airport both have waterfalls.’
