Only Twitter Blue subscribers can vote in policy-related polls? At this point, no one should be surprised if Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, is making some changes to the bluebird app. He has been adding and subtracting many things for the established app, making users perplexed with his decisions.

Yet, as if we didn’t get enough of the early Christmas shock, Musk tweeted a poll yesterday asking if he should step down as the head of Twitter. And he would abide by the results. Thus, it ended with 57.5% voting yes, and the rest no.

So, considering he said he would follow the results, shouldn’t he be stepping down from the throne now?

The irony is before he posted the poll, he shared this tweet:

And we… don’t know where he’s going with this.

Only Twitter Blue users can participate in policy-related polls

What’s happening now? Kim Dotcom (@KimDotcom), stepped up to state his opinions about the poll.

He quoted Musk’s poll and said, “it’s unwise to run a poll like this when [Musk] is now deep state enemy #1.”

Kim Dotcom’s tweet garnered the CEO’s attention when he tweeted a questionable reply.

The conversation went on as another user, @Unfilteredboss1, said:

Musk took his suggestion and said it was a good point. Twitter will make that change.

So, now we know— the bluebird app will be rolling up a new policy sometime in the future. By then, only Blue subscribers can vote in polls that concern the policy of the app.

What do you think? Is this a good move from Musk or another topic to have a long discourse about?
