- OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend in their Miami condo, was sentenced Monday to six years in prison.
- Clenney, 30, accepted a plea deal earlier this month that called for at least 124 months in prison. She received credit for time served for the last four years, which she spent behind bars following the August 2022 fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.
- Prosecutors previously described the couple's relationship as "tempestuous and combative" leading up to the stabbing.
- According to a redacted police report, officers responded to the couple’s Miami apartment on April 3, 2022, after a reported altercation. They found Obumseli with a single stab wound to the torso, while body camera footage showed Clenney covered in his blood.
- Clenney told investigators that Obumseli pushed her to the ground and that she threw a knife at him from about 10 feet away. A medical examiner determined the knife wound to Obumseli’s chest was about three inches deep. The model’s attorneys argued that she acted in self-defense.
