SIMPANG RENGGAM, June 27 — Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Machap state seat, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, has said that anything can happen in the Johor state election despite the contest being a straight fight.
The Johor caretaker menteri besar, who is also the incumbent assemblyman for Machap, pledged to fight hard for the support of voters in his constituency, Berita Harian (BH) reported.
“In an election, anything can happen. So we will fight all out to gain the people’s backing, God willing,” he told BH after the announcement of the Machap candidate at Dewan Muafakat, Simpang Renggam District Council, today.
In this Johor state election, Onn Hafiz will face Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Nor Hafiz Roslan.
