Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha says the Premier League title was won thanks to a "relentless" approach.
Arsenal's defeat at Nottingham Forest has confirmed City as champions for season 2022/23.
Onuoha told BBC Sport: "Man City have changed as the season progressed. City weren't scoring enough and they were conceding too many goals.
"But, as things are panning out now, they're in with a chance of having the best defensive record in the division and you are seeing the change of John Stones going into midfield. He hasn't played in midfield for the previous seven years he has been under Pep Guardiola as manager and all of a sudden that's the right thing to do.
"The players are all playing exceptionally well, everyone has done their bit throughout the season for them. They are just relentless.
"Every game they treat with the utmost respect whether they are playing top of the table or bottom of the table and that's ultimately why when the pressure was on for Arsenal, they weren't able to get across the line but for Man City they've been there, they've done it and like we saw against Real Madrid in the week they've done it in a way that can seem completely unplayable."
