KOTA KINABALU: Road users near the Petron Station junction along Jalan Tuaran, Karamunsing, narrowly escaped falling into an uncovered manhole on Sunday, Info X reported.
The hazard was spotted by a police escort officer for the Yang di-Pertua Negeri while riding towards the Bukit Nanas interchange at Jalan Kolam, Karamunsing.
A red road barrier was quickly installed to alert motorists and prevent accidents at the site.
