KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — OpenAI has announced its new ChatGPT subscription plans for Malaysian users, in a rollout to 16 more countries today.
The company’s entry-level “Go” plan costs RM38.99 per month, offering extended access to the GPT-5 model and additional tools.
The “Plus” tier, priced at RM99.90 monthly, provides higher usage limits and access to advanced research and reasoning features.
A top-tier “Pro” plan costs RM999.90 per month, catering to professionals and enterprise users who need even greater access and early feature previews.
The free plan remains available, allowing limited access to GPT-5 along with basic tools like file uploads and web search.
Users on paid tiers will also gain extended access to image generation, file uploads, and data analysis features.
OpenAI said the new pricing reflects its effort to make AI tools more accessible across different income levels and regions.
