As a journalism teacher and adjunct professor, it is interesting to note and analyse about 18 intelligent and wise comments within four hours that supported Anwar Ibrahim’s action of the freeze on the sale of government land. About 95 per cent of the comments commended PMX for his action.

Here are some of the constructive comments as expressed without much correction to grammar:

  • PMX should order the land office of all the states to list down the remaining land that is still under govt ownership to see how much land is still available.
  • PMX must focus on capturing the mastermind of the devil himself, “Jho Low” then the missing links of the case will be resolved.
  • DSAI is doing correctly, and every inch of the wrong transaction of huge money of wrongdoing is being noticed. This is the kind of PM Malaysia requires now. Kudos to PMX.
  • Good move. But are Federal, State and district authorities being empowered to track land deals?
  • Malaysian citizens should support Anwar, or PN will hide these corruption cases if it is in power. Suggest Anwar should increase MACC’s manpower.
  • A very good move by PMX.
  • Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) is believed to have overpaid for a 67.41-acre parcel of land in Kuala Lumpur that it had acquired from the Finance Ministry (MoF) for RM2.066 billion. Citing sources, the publication said the central bank did not need to pay RM703.44 psf for the land, which it had earmarked for a training centre as it was situated next to BNM’s Sasana Kijang Complex. What actually happened?
  • At last!!! KUDOS TO OUR BRILLIANT PMX. Rakyat TOLAK (eliminate) corrupt politicians.
  • Freezing on the sale or lease of government reserve land plots must have surprised those involved in shady deals. Kickbacks are already spent but no real deal yet. Hahahaha smart move.
  • What happened to the land given by Najib and FTM? Well done PMX.
  • PMX is the Best of all the past PMs. A truly Rakyat PM for ALL Malaysian. A big salute to you. Sir.
  • Offspring’s of Napoleon lurking around in certain government departments. Tracing the paper trails is the first step to uncover the many misdeeds.
  • MACC better Muhyiddin and Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s bank accounts.
  • This is the right bold move. Kudos to our PM.

Now, for the not-so-positive comments:

  • Smearing campaign again…low class PH
  • Wondering why the timeframe always starts during the Muhyiddin government? Why not start in 2018 because there was zero wrongdoing during that era?

Next time remember to read the comments at the end of the article to observe the debate by news readers like you.
