Education policies are fundamentally guided by the nation's constitution, which outlines core values and rights, while simultaneously being forward-looking to prepare Malaysians for the future's evolving challenges and opportunities.
This dual focus ensures both foundational principles and dynamic relevance.
As Nelson Mandela reportedly said - Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
He also reportedly said “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.
All the politicians and advocates against the UEC should pause and reflect on this statement from Nelson Mandela.
Real change doesn’t begin with grand speeches.
It starts quietly.
With belief.
With stubborn hope.
With the courage to build the impossible, brick by brick.
The future which the younger generation will enter into will be one driven by technology and innovation, rooted in potential.
To do that, they need courage, clarity, and conviction.
If the politicians and the government is sincere in guiding the future of our younger generation, they shouldn’t be afraid to lead with dignity and build with purpose.
Challenge those in charge of education in this country to dare to imagine a different kind of higher education.
It always seems impossible at the beginning until it is done.
Education is crucial to enhance lives, especially when the right education is received from young.
As a leader on this nation, your role is to inspire, inculcate the desire to learn among young people and encourage curiosity.
As a leader, your greatest legacy is not just reviving the fortune and lead this country to prosperity and minimising corruption in society.
It should be your actions in getting Malaysians from all walks of life to come together and reconcile and live harmoniously together.
Again, as Nelson Mandela said `No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite’.
