Political party, Bersatu led, by its President, PM8, recently launched "Healing Politik" (Political Healing), the party’s strategy to rebuild public trust and address internal fractures. The initiative seeks to counter voter frustration, overcome party infighting, and redefine the party's mission toward honest public service.
Why use the word `Healing” while the word `Politik’ is in Bahasa Malaysia?
The word `Healing’ is Bahasa Inggeris.
And according to Cambridge Dictionary, Healing is the active process of restoring health, wholeness, or balance. It applies to both the biological mending of physical injuries and the psychological recovery from emotional trauma. Rather than simply erasing pain, true healing involves acknowledging, processing, and integrating past experiences to move forward
Why not `Penyembuhan’ or `Pemulihan”?

Where are those organizations like Gabungan Penulis Nasional (GAPENA) and various Malay cultural coalitions and Pertubuhan Pembela Islam (PEMBELA) who often pushes for the exclusive use of the national language to maintain cultural and religious solidarity?
Where is Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) who was tasked with coordinating the use and development of Bahasa Malaysia, frequently pushed for strict compliance in official government correspondence, public signage, and broadcasting?
Shouldn't these groups called out the hypocrisy from Bersatu and their leaders?
It is pure hypocrisy for a party whose President is still remembered to have famously uttered in 2010 that "I am Malay first".
In today’s highly polarised environment, their supporters are probably more forgiving when their own party breaks the rules.
They justify their party's actions as "necessary" while calling out the opposing party for the exact same behavior.
To those with a lesser understanding, they could be wondering is Bersatu `sick’ since it is now healing?
Haiz, no wonder ordinary Malaysians are easily confused.
They often face information overload from complex news, political rhetoric, and a mix of cultures from their politicians and political parties.
