At some point, MUDA and PSM will have to answer the question: what is it that you want from us voters?
So far, all you do is come to us voters, tell us that you are good people, and ask is to vote you into a high position with a well-paying job.
When we voters see you do that, of course we are thinking: "Hey, I am a good person too - why don't you vote for me so that I can have a high position and a well-paying job?"
See, this is the problem with not having anything to offer the voters other than the view that you are a good person, before expecting them to raise you up, make you the boss and give you a good pay.
It inevitably will beg the question: why you and not us? Why should we exalt and raise you for being good when you don't raise and exalt us for being good?
Are you shortchanging us, or do you not think we are good enough? Regardless of what the answer is, the result is the same - voters are going to reject you.
Some people might say that MUDA and PSM participating in elections time after time despite defeat after defeat is a sign of faith and dedication, but it can also be a sign of insanity and narcissism, you know.
Like Einstein said, insanity is doing the same thing again and again while expecting a different result.
After losing your deposit in so many elections, shouldn't MUDA and PSM know by now what the voters think of them and that the voters are expecting something more from it before we will give it what it wants ?
If you keep losing your deposit like this time after time, it is only going to raise the question: what is it that you gain from all this?
You are either insane, or you are gaining something from this, but what is it ?
Is standing for an election when you know you will lose your deposit, a way for you to make yourself feel that you are a good person struggling for a just cause in an unjust world?
If this is the reason why you keep standing in election after election while losing your deposit again and again, you do realise that you can be faulted for narcissism, right?
You can, because it is all about you - it is about you playing a part in this pointless charade just to indulge and exalt yourself, with the scantest regard for us and what it is that we want.
Do us all a favour and take a moment to think about this from this angle, before you decide on what you want to do next.
