Politicians are creating problems and a mess in the country, Liyana Marzuki commented in a TikTok interview.

“At home, we are good with our neighbours even though our political stances differ. The people are smart and mature enough. The problem is when politicians create a perception of a threat that has never happened in Malaysia. They cause the people and the country to become a mess,” Liyana commented.

“We don't make noise or fight with our neighbours. We don't make noise in the mosque. It's the political people who make us rowdy. This country is the only country where the majority population always feels threatened. You are the majority.

“You have the most numbers, and at the same time, your birth rate is increasing every year while the other races are decreasing, and you still feel threatened,” said Liyana, who was once a special assistant to a minister, according to her Facebook posting.

She added that it was high time enough was enough. “Let's develop our country, Malaysia, together. Elections will come again in five years. There is a reason: the National Constitution stipulates that they happen every five years, not every year, so we have time to develop the country.

“The state is threatened now with extremism, economic uncertainty, and political instability. My religion or nation is not threatened. But the future of my country is threatened. We should focus on that and work towards a Unity Government.”

It's heartwarming to note that Malaysian youths are beginning to speak up about politics and the way politicians conduct themselves,

In the recent “Allah" socks case, the Police have cautioned politicians to stay out until their investigations are completed.
