Oh, what a literary genius we have in our midst!
Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK), the master of spins, based in Manchester, England, has graced us with his latest bedtime story, and let me tell you, it is a masterpiece of sarcasm, wit and cynicism.
In this heartwarming tale, we journey to Merry Ole England, where a man who had committed a heinous crime faced a judge who decided the prisoner ought to be sent to hell.
But hold on, England had abolished the death penalty, so what's a judge to do? (For the novice please be reminded you have to die first before you can end up there!)
Well, don't fret; the judge has a brilliant solution – send the poor soul to Malaysia, which, according to our dear RPK, is apparently worse than hell itself.
Now, I know what you're thinking. How can Malaysia be worse than hell?
The man in the story certainly thinks so, as he begs the judge for mercy, saying he would rather be hanged than sent to Malaysia. It's all very heartwarming, really, in a twisted, sarcastic way.
But let's not forget that RPK is quite the wordsmith, and beneath the humour and satire lies a hidden agenda.
Those who are privy to the inner workings of this mercenary blogger can decipher the true message hidden within.
It's like a literary puzzle, a riddle wrapped in an enigma, waiting for you to uncover the deeper meaning.
So, kudos to Raja Petra Kamarudin for his unparalleled storytelling skills. Who knew that bedtime stories could be so enlightening and cynical?
But mum and dad, please don't read that story to your kids at bedtime. They might dream of leaving the country and move to Manchester, next.
