Malaysia, one of the most unstable politics situations in the recent years. Ever since when The Harapan party be the government in 2018, this party should be the government until 2022, however, there are some personal argues between Tun Dr Mahathir and Anwar which literally allow Muhyiddin to lead out his party and cooperate with Islam party and the National Front party which the National party has been the government for over 60 years before 2018. Before November 19th, 2023, which is our election, the government is not in a stable situation. Although the current government is now leaded by Anwar, which is the People's Justice Party, Democratic Action party and also National Front party, there are still some mistakes made by the government in their policy, which also cause some dissatisfied among the public. Therefore, this article is to understand the sound of the public and understand their perspective to local politics.
During the last national and state election, we can find out a data which shows out the percentage of voting. From the results, we can find out that not all of the capable voters went to vote. From this data, we can find out that part of the Malaysian does not care too much to local politics. The highest percentage of the voting is only at 70+. Therefore, the article is to the whole Malaysian and hope to persuade everyone to take attention to local politics. However, we will have to state out the reason about why the people does not focus on local politics, which clearly to be said, this article is to state out the disappointment or the suggestion of the people to the government.

We can find out a roughly data of an average between 10 to 25 percent of the voters didn't went to vote.
There were a lot of controversy leaded out by the government ever since after they have stable their power of being the government. Such as the good vibes Festival being cancelled due to Matt Healy, the singer of 1975 having a speech to support the LGBT community, several singers choose to skip Malaysia as one of the stations, it is believed that the stands of Malaysia have caused to this situation, miscommunication between the ministry of education with the public which also cause misunderstanding on the Hadith. There is one more case but not leaded by the government, it is one of the members of PAS (Malaysian Islamic Party) scolded Coldplay concert holding in Malaysia.
Therefore, several questions were prepared to ask the people about their opinion. There are 5 interviewee who answered the question. Here are the following questions:
1. How do you think to local politics?
Chinese interviewee 1-Local politics scene is being very dramatic.
Chinese interviewee 2-The situation of politics nowadays is very polarized, can be roughly describe as yes or no choice only, Yq thinks that it is unhealthy for the democracy politics.
Chinese interviewee 3-Everyone speaks, but less point is being given.
Malay interviewee 1-Malaysia is more to on identity politics, such as Umno is a Malay party, Mca is a Chinese party and Mic is for Indian party. These party fight for their own races since Malaysians are not enough united.
Malay interviewee 2-Malaysia is a democratic country which the people have the opportunity to vote, it shows that Malaysia is a country who still follow the willing of the majority.
2. What is your comment to the present government?
Chinese interviewee 1-Provide the new government some time to make their results.
Chinese interviewee 2-Having disappointment to the current government due to the released of Dato Seri Zahid Hamidi as the current government’s propaganda is to anti-corruption but they released this man who has a lot of causes related to corruption.
Chinese interviewee 3-Time is needed to be given to the government and emphasize more on their results.
Malay interviewee 1-I don’t agree with the government propaganda, which is “the Madani”, one of the targets of this propaganda is to fight corruption, however the government still collab with Zahid Hamidi who has a lot of corruption cases, it is an action without integrity and Principe. Hence, I have lost trust to the current government.
Malay interviewee 2-I don’t take seriously because these politicians are not my priority. However, I still hope that our economy can be better in the future since now we are facing inflation, it is shown on the price of goods.
3. How do you look on the opposition party [nowadays]
Chinese interviewee 1-The opposition party nowadays love to use 3R (race, religion and royalty) as a topic to persuade the voters.
Chinese interviewee 2-The opposition side of the party is no good party too. They are like playing with fire, keep on using the race and religion topics as their propaganda to criticize the current government. I think that we need a more powerful opposition of party like the harapan party in the 14th and 15th election, who is more emphasized on true merits, evidence and data.
Chinese interviewee 3-Opposition party should give more speaks on constructive comments, evidence is needed more in their speech.
Malay interviewee 1-There are some opposition parties which I am okay with, I also vote for them during the election.
Malay interviewee 2-The opposition party should give pressure to the government in order to organize the country in a better way.
4. Does your family and you notice on politics news always? Or news about the policy is also counted.
Chinese interviewee 1-My parents will follow up to current political situation.
Chinese interviewee 2-My parents is very well-informed to the politics and policy. My father raised me to be aware of what is happening in this country and indirectly affected me to foot into political area.
Chinese interviewee 3-Family watch much on politics, however I look more on policy.
Malay interviewee 1-Watch on politics news in tight. Me and my family are also members in a political party, we will discuss together about what happen in politics.

5. How do you think about your own races of people about their attitude on local politics?
Chinese interviewee 1-Thinking of own races of people should understand more on politics for the future generation.
Chinese interviewee 2-I believes that my own kind of people knows the situation, and their attitude is no tolerance. It might be the oppression policy in the past that has caused this appearance. If we don’t stand up for ourselves, we might face the consequences for being zero-attention to politics.
Chinese interviewee 3-Financial and medical situation needed time being given by Chinese to allow the government making some results.
Malay interviewee 1-Malays have more attitudes since there are many political parties, some take good to, and some take bad to.
Malay interviewee 2-Malays should be careful their speech because Malaysia which this country contains a lot of races. We live in the same country and misspeaking may cause conflict between each race.
There are many answers among the public, every individuals' answer is specific, which makes us as a human. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to interview to Malaysia's Indians.
