Used to do a bit of work in corporate restructuring, corporate `undertaker.

A totally stupid and ridiculous suggestion.

Should PH do it, not only for sure PH will be decimated in the next GE.

Their supporters would also vote en masse for PAS just to teach PH a lesson.

Do not blame supporters of PH who will `open’ the doors for PAS to govern the country.

Supporters of PH will let PAS `realise’ their wet dreams of implementing their version of Islamic laws in this country.

Be forewarned - supporters of PH are willing to gamble with their future.

Maybe PAS is not what they project themselves to be when they are in power.

Otherwise, if they are what their opponents claimed they are if they were to rule the country, non Malays in Kelantan and Terengganu would have relocated or migrated en masse outside of those 2 states long time ago.

Probably the people who fear the most of PAS governing the country are all those politicians not in PAS, the political elites and their cronies.

For sure, these people will have to cease living their decadent lifestyle if the country were to be ruled by PAS.

Definitely NOT the ordinary rakyat.

For sure the non PAS politicians, political elites and their cronies will experience changes to their lives, both in quality and social mobility.

The most that the ordinary rakyat and supporters of PH will accept is for parties in BN to compete in those seats presently held by PAS and Bersatu.

NOT for BN parties to cannibalise seats presently held by parties in PH.

This is the redline which the supporters of PH are giving to the leadership of parties in PH.

The choice are theirs to make or break.

Remember, an incumbent is a current officeholder who is seeking to be reelected to that office. Incumbent MPs have excellent odds of being re-elected unless they are useless and do not serve the community which they are representing.

Incumbents benefit greatly from name recognition and positive media coverage.

Any incumbent who manages to stay out of scandal is virtually guaranteed positive coverage in the local media.

This is especially true in the age of social media nowadays which tends to focus on staged events at which the incumbent appears at events such as a local conference on aging, a local pro-am golf tournament, or a construction ground-breaking for which the incumbent helped secure the funds. Rarely does local and social media focus on how incumbents vote on key issues and how those votes affect real people

And the ordinary rakyat that increasingly voted for PH since 2008 were not doing it because they like the policies and the governance style of PH but because they are increasingly disgusted over the open display of rottenness and corruption perpetrated by the politicians in the ruling government then.

Should the leaders of PH `attempt’ to persuade and convince those who supported the coalition and those who voted for them out of spite for the then government in the 15th GE, say bye bye to the seats which all of you are sitting in comfortably now after the next GE.

If BN is not happy and threaten to compete on their own in the next GE against PH, then bid them adieu graciously.

Their threat will be as hollow as the protagonist.

A betting man will tell you that they will not carry out the threat.

Reason?

It will be a comedy to see them explaining to the ordinary why they should be voted in on their own without PH when they were a party to the government and contributed significantly to the policies and governance of this country for the last 5 years.

PH can be magnanimous and let BN compete in seats not held by PH presently.

In the run up to elections for the state of Terengganu in June 2023, the Terengganu Umno chief reportedly said PKR should "know its place" and assumed it stood a chance of winning in asking to be given more seats at the coming state polls.

Similarly, BN and UMNO should also know their place and assumed that since they have ruled the country for 50+ uninterrupted years, they stood a chance of winning in asking for more seats in the next GE.

BN and UMNO should just go back and line up behind the incumbents in the next GE.
