The crime in the pardon and DNAA was the politicians stole tax payers monies.

The crime is that the system built specifically to stop people like them let them walk away.

The system worked exactly as designed or legislated.

And most Malaysians never see it.

Underneath the veneer of fairness, there are clear class and racial double standards in the choices made by police, prosecutors, and judges both in terms of what laws they choose to enforce and against whom they choose to enforce them, as well as in what are considered crimes, and how seriously those crimes are punished.

This is the same system that moves fast to punish most people but slows down when the players are connected, credentialed, and protected.

There are clear disparities in arrest and prosecution rates based on income level or whether or not the accused is able to afford a good lawyer.

It exposed how proximity to power and wealth changes consequences.

In this system, a small privileged few are rich beyond conscience and others are doomed to be poor.

That is the way the system works.

The system operates with a tiered speed—fast for the general public and slow/cautious for connected elites—and highlights the systemic challenges in holding powerful figures accountable.

The law is applied differently to those with political connections.

While the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) cites "insufficient evidence" or "further investigation" as justifications, the public perception remains that high-profile politicians often walk away or receive reduced sentences.

The country needs much more than reform.

And since the system will not change the rules, the system needs to be changed.

The country needs a new justice system altogether.

The country needs a system that is actually designed to ensure justice for ALL people.

The present system was never intended to benefit all Malaysians.

The system was always the design.

Solidarity is our strongest tool.

Not silence.

Not neutrality.

Not compliance.

We build something new when we stand together.

If everyone or the silent majority are ready to speak up, reimagine leadership and take action that actually makes a difference, this country will change.
