Anwar Ibrahim will definitely lose if a snap election is called in the near future.

Why?

He is going to lose badly, because if he wins, too many Malaysians are going to feel like losers.

The Malays are going to feel like losers.

The Indians are going to feel like losers.

The Chinese are going to feel like losers.

The reformists are going to feel like losers.

Heck, even the Sabahans and Sarawakians are going to feel like losers.

Now I can explain why Anwar Ibrahim winning makes Malaysians feel like losers, but there is no need for it.

What I am saying is true, so I don't need to explain it for it to be believed - it will be believed even without an explanation - heck, I am sure even if Anwar Ibrahim were to read this, he will realise how true it is, even without any explanation.

So what can Anwar do to stop Malaysians feeling like losers, the more he looks like a winner?

Well, one of the things he can do is stop projecting the image of a winner with such force.

While it is true that as a general rule, one should project the image of a winner to win elections, the exception to the rule is when the more you look like a winner, the more you make the people you expect to vote for you feel like losers.

You should only project the image of a winner, if people believe that you winning will also makes them feel like winners, but if people believe that you winning makes them feel like losers, you should stop projecting the image of a winner, or else it is going to cause people to vote against you.

So do yourself a favour and look a little weak, Anwar.

Express some self doubt.

Admit that you might have made mistakes.

Participate in a pidato contest or pantun contest where you will lose although you looked like you were trying really hard to win.

Heck, shed some tears - if Mahathir can cry on screen to win an election, so can you. I am not saying that videos of you weeping inconsolably like your dog died in social media is going to win you the election - but a little bit of tears will help.

I really think that looking a little bit like a loser is an image you need to develop in order to not lose a truckload of votes in the next election.

And also, stop going so strong to create an image of a winner for yourself.

Don't talk like you are so sure of yourself.

Stop carrying yourself like you are convinced that everybody loves and respects you.

Stop creating the perception that you are welcome all over the world by world leaders who are eager to hear your take on important global issues.

Stop making it seem like you got everything under control and that you can take care of everything.

In short, stop trying so hard to make it look like you are a winner, because the more you do it, the more it is causing people to feel like such losers, that they are definitely going to vote you out, just to stop themselves from feeling like they are such losers.

Rather than give the impression that you are in charge, it might be better for you to look a little more helpless and pitiful.

Of course, don't look too pitiful and helpless - but a little show of vulnerability and openness might help.

Also in the next election, it is probably best that you field people from PKR who are not seen to be intimately connected with you.

People are definitely not going to vote for a candidate like Ramanan, because he is too closely associated with you.

But they might vote for somebody like Hassan Karim, who is not so closely associated with you.

Anyway, off the cuff, these are some of things that I can think of that you can do to not bite the dust in the next election.

I am coming up with this post because I feel i have gone so anti-Anwar in my last few posts, that I am starting to suspect that Bukit Aman is monitoring my page.

It is either my anti-Anwar or my pro-Communist post that must have done it, I can't help but suspect..

But if it is my anti-Anwar posts that is the reason, for the record, I must say that I am not at all anti-Anwar - everybody I know think that you cheated and betrayed them, but I don't think so - I have never felt that you have cheated or betrayed me - my opinion of you has remained unchanged over the years - so when I say that I think you are going to be bite the dust in the coming election, i am just saying it because I think it is true, not because I want it to happen.

Anyway, if you do read this, realise that you looking like a winner is causing a lot of Malaysians to feel like a loser, and do something to fix or, I still don't think it will change anything , because too many people feel like a loser too intensely because of you looking like a winner, for it to make a difference.

but there is no harm in trying. A man has to do something Afterall .
