Yesterday, Perikatan Nasional extended their congratulations to Vijay on account of unprecedented victory in the Tamil Nadu polls and today, not to be left behind, our very own Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has chipped in as well, to congratulate his "friend" Vijay on being elected the Chief Minister Tamil Nadu.

If you didn't know that Anwar and Vijay are friends, well of course they are friends. Didn't you know that everybody is your friend when you win?

Vijay is the the biggest winner in the news today, and when you are the biggest winner , then no one should be surprised that even Anwar is his friend today.

Anyway, I think it is great that Anwar is rubbing shoulder with Vijay. Vijay is shining brilliantly like an absolute Winner today, and if anybody needs Vijay's winning shine to rub of him, it is definitely our own Anwar.

Anwar has not looked like a winner since last November, when he hosted the ASEAN Summit in KL.

You know you are in the doldrums, if even your own party thinks you are going bite the dust in your old seat, even when you are the incumbent prime minister.

Anyway, Vijay in turn, through a post in X, has reciprocated Anwar's gesture by saying he is committed to building stronger ties with Malaysia.

Well, if it comes to pass that Malaysia and Tamil Nadu are to get closer, I hope that Anwar will remember that you can't call the Tamil people the k-word, like he did a couple of years ago. Anwar is 78 years old - when you are his age, sometimes you need to be constantly reminded of these sort of things, less you revert back to your old thinking.

Anyway, there was a comment that I read in the post where Anwar congratulated Vijay, left by a commentator named Balan Ramasamy that I am going to share with you here, because I found it very amusing.

In the comment, Balan, referring to Anwar and Vijay, would say : "He ( Vijay) was an actor who become a politician, while you are a politician who has now become an actor."

It was an immensely popular comment that struck a chord with hundreds of people, who gave it a thumbs up sign

I found it amusing , because at the rate that Anwar's popularity is declining, I wouldn't be surprised that he might need to look for a new job soon.

We all know that he can sing and dance to MGR's tune - maybe he should try his luck in cinema once he is forced to hang his boot in politics - if Vijay has had such a grand and unsurpassed success in the field of politics, who knows, maybe the next place that Anwar can be a Winner again is in the field of cinema.

Balan certainly things he has great potentials. 😆
