“Bukan salah kami.”
Leadership bukan tentang siapa salah.
Leadership is about siapa bersedia.
Because global crisis is one thing.
Local preparedness is another.
You cannot control Selat Hormuz.
But you can control how ready your country is.
This is what rakyat are questioning:
Where is the contingency plan?
Mana pelan kalau keadaan jadi lebih teruk?
Mana urgency?
We cannot afford to “hope” things will get better.
Hope is not policy.
Hope is not strategy.
When leaders start sounding reactive instead of proactive,
that’s when confidence drops.
Because rakyat bukan hanya tengok apa yang berlaku…
they watch how you respond to it.
You say this is a global issue.
Betul.
But crisis management…
itu bukan global.
Itu local leadership.
And right now,
the problem is not just minyak.
It’s the feeling that while others are preparing…
we are still explaining.
When your brain is slower than your mouth,
you talk your way out of responsibility.
But in a crisis…
words don’t protect rakyat.
Preparation does.
So yes,
Selat Hormuz is the problem.
But whether Malaysia is ready or not…
that’s entirely on you.
