Kota Kinabalu: The opposition seems intent on causing trouble for the Unity Government by rejecting the draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) on opposition allocations, said DAP Parliamentary Whip, Nga Kor Ming.
Nga, who is also Housing and Local Government Minister, said the draft had been discussed and reviewed by the Unity Government before being offered to the opposition.
“The conditions set are for the benefit and good of the country,” he said.
“For instance, we asked that if opposition MPs, who are incredibly wealthy, want to receive allocations, they should declare their assets. But they refuse, they are scared, and that is why they are making excuses.
