Brighton boss Graham Potter was delighted for the players after an impressive 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Amex.
Aaron Connolly's brace and Neal Maupay's strike secured a memorable win on home soil, and Potter commented on a well-deserved result after a tough few weeks.
He said, We've been playing quite well, but while you don't get the results, you always need those three points to give you some confidence and belief in what you're doing.
The boys have been very consistent in how they've worked, but we know results are not easy to come by in the Premier League and we had to stick together.
I'm really proud of the players, and the supporters were great too. It was nice for them to get three points at home."
