Kota Kinabalu: The public are now more aware of the importance of organ donation but not many are willing to sign up as donors.
Stating this, Queen Elizabeth Hospital II (QEH II) Director Dr Razak Tambi said to date there are 244,582 pledgers recorded in the national organ pledges registry via MySejahtera.
He said 14,707 patients are currently in the national list waiting for organ transplantation.
