Oscar Gloukh admits choosing to sign for RB Salzburg in January ahead of Barcelona.
The midfielder joined Salzburg from Maccabi Tel Aviv for 7m.
He recalled, "I was very excited because Bara wanted me, but they were late in the race and in the end they couldn't do it.
"Bara agreed when we already had everything closed with Salzburg. It was the best option for me and we did it. In the end, I am clear that we made the right decision to go with them and not to Barcelona. It makes more sense as a player."
Gloukh, 18, added: "Ever since I can remember, ever since I started playing football, I've been a Real Madrid fan. The peak moment will be reaching Real. My biggest dream is to play at the Bernabu and wear the Real Madrid uniform."
