
Kota Kinabalu: The commander of the Fifth Infantry Division, Major-General Datuk Mohd Halim Khalid, paid a courtesy call on the Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at the Istana Seri Kinabalu.
During his 18 months of service as the Fifth Infantry Commander at the Lok Kawi Camp, Mohd Halim, who will retire in January, expressed his appreciation to Juhar and the Sabah Government for their assistance.
“I actively participated in the government’s efforts to contain the spread of the Covid-19 throughout my time in Sabah, and thankfully, we were able to do so.
“I call on all citizens to work together to protect national security, regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation,” he said.
