Outnumbered star Hugh Dennis has urged men to check their risk of prostate cancer following the beloved BBC sitcom’s 2024 Christmas special storyline.

In the Boxing Day episode, Sue and Pete Brockman (Claire Skinner and Dennis) navigate breaking the news of Pete’s diagnosis to their three children Jake, Ben, and Karen (Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche, and Ramona Marquez) who return home for the festive period.

Following the show, the comedian, 62, appeared in a video for Prostate Cancer UK, urging viewers to check their risk of the disease in 30 seconds using a tool on the charity’s website.
