Getting concert tickets is already stressful enough, but for Malaysian ARMYs, the fight for BTS tickets has officially entered another level.
The ARMY Membership presale for BTS’ upcoming Kuala Lumpur concert opened today, June 3, and within minutes, the online ticketing queue reportedly went past 1.3 million people.
BTS is coming back to Malaysia after 11 years
BTS will be performing in Kuala Lumpur for two nights on Dec 12 and 13, 2026, as part of their BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’.
The concerts will be held at TM Stadium Nasional, Bukit Jalil, with both shows scheduled to start at 7.30pm.
This also marks the group’s long awaited return to Malaysia after 11 years. Their last performance here was during the 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II: The Red Bullet tour.
More than 1.3mil fans reportedly joined the queue
According to the fans, the ticketing page showed a “Latest Traffic Update” at around 11.05am, with 1.2 million users in queue.
At the time, the system also stated that all ticket categories were still available.
At around 11:32am, another screenshot showed that the queue had climbed again, with 1.3 million users waiting online.
At around 1pm, the update also stated that the VIP allocation for the day had sold out, while other categories were still available.
Despite the intense online queue, many lucky fans later shared on social media that they had successfully secured their tickets, with some posting screenshots of their confirmed purchases and celebrating the end of their ticketing battle.
As demand was extremely high, organisers reportedly advised fans to decide on their preferred ticket category in advance, prepare backup options, and complete payment within 10 minutes to avoid losing their tickets.
More ticket sales are coming
For those who did not manage to get tickets during the ARMY Membership presale, there are still other sale windows.
Based on Live Nation Malaysia’s ticketing information, the Trip.com presale will take place on June 4 from 9am onwards, while the Live Nation presale will begin on the same day at 11am.
General sale is scheduled to begin on June 5 at 11am.
