KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 — Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk R. Ramanan said that as of May, approximately 2,345 traders have registered on the MyMall platform.

These traders market 1,979 products, with recorded sales amounting to RM8.8 million.

MyMall, introduced by the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry (Kuskop) in April 2022, aims to bolster the local digital entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing free online marketing space to micro, small, and medium enterprises and local cooperatives.

Beyond being an e-commerce platform, MyMall offers registered traders access to business development tools, entrepreneurship training, and opportunities for business financing.

“Kuskop’s vision is for this platform to serve as an information hub for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, providing information on programmes and entrepreneurship assistance,” he said.

Ramanan was speaking during the wind-up of the debate on the Auditor-General’s Report Series 2/2024 in the Dewan Rakyat today.
