Furthermore, according to Bernama, the police have identified 41 hotspots that commonly encounter high traffic congestion, and patrols will be boosted in these regions throughout the festive season. In other news, PLUS Malaysia Berhad forecasts daily traffic exceeding two million vehicles on its highways during the peak Aidiladha travel period. Specifically, high traffic days are expected on June 5-6 and June 8-9, aligned with the June 7 holiday. The East Coast Highway 2 (LPT2) forecasts a more moderate 60,000 vehicles per day throughout the same festive period. For those heading to their hometown, plan your journey well.
