KOTA KINABALU: Over 3,000 students from across Sabah took part in Scimatech: Road to Success 2025, a two-day Stem outreach event held at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

Hosted by the Science and Technology Faculty, the programme featured laboratory tours and more than 30 interactive science and technology modules.

The initiative aimed to boost student interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (Stem) through early hands-on exposure.

The event reaffirmed UMS’s commitment to advancing knowledge while supporting the State Government’s push to widen Stem access in rural areas.
