The floods in the Northern and eastern states of Malaysia continue to impact the livelihoods of people, properties and animals alike.

Taking to Twitter, this netizen shared how the floods affected the lives of some 400+ cats seeking shelter at the Pusat Jagaan Prihatin in Kelantan.

In the video, the netizen shared images of water reaching devastating levels and cats finding safety on higher ground in the care centre.

Netizens commenting on the tweet had this message to share.

“The operator of the centre in Kampung Kubang Terap, Pasir Mas, expressed concern towards the well-being of over 400 cats in the centre.”

“Both operator and his workers could not reach the centre ever since the floods began devastating the area,” they added.

We hope and pray that the cats hold on so that they are able to be rescued eventually.
