Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Agro Expo (SAEX) 2026 will run from August 21 to 23 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here, featuring over 200 booths to showcase agricultural innovations and foster industry growth.
Organised by ESM Exhibitor Relations Malaysia, the three-day event expects to attract more than 50,000 visitors, ranging from farmers and agri-entrepreneurs to investors and the general public.
Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister Datuk Jamawi Jaafar is set to officially open the expo on Aug 22.
Visitors will have access to displays of smart farming, agricultural machinery, precision agriculture, and sustainable solutions, alongside live demonstrations, product launches, and business-matching sessions.
Event highlights include the Goat Farming Course, the Jelajah Bioekonomi programme, and talks by industry specialists, including durian expert Lim Chin Khee, ginger specialist Calvin Chin, and salted egg production expert Jessie Ambukon.
