
Kota Kinabalu: The Federation of Sabah Industries (FSI) paid a courtesy call on Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia Her Excellency Lada Phumas at the Royal Thailand Embassy recently where potential areas for Thailand to invest in Sabah were discussed.
The delegation was led by FSI President Richard Lim who highlighted the strong relationship and cooperation between FSI and the Thailand embassy established for almost two decades during the meeting.
Phumas thanked FSI for the continued strong relationship between both parties and said the Thai embassy strongly supports FSI for the coming 10th Sabah International Expo 2023 (SIE2023)
The expo will see more than 70 exhibitors from Thailand to be held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

Phumas expressed confidence the event would further enhance trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and Sabah and extending to the BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Indonesia Malaysia Philippines East Asian Growth Area) region.
Her Excellency is also optimistic that the two events will bring even closer cooperation between Thailand and Sabah.
