MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Vice President on Wednesday received the summons of the Senate sitting as an impeachment court.
The court ordered the issuance of a writ of summons directing her to file an answer on the impeachment articles sent by the House of Representatives.
"We will comply and file the appropriate response in accordance with the Constitution and applicable rules," Duterte's defense team said last May 18, 2026.
