A cat in Malaysia has gone viral for proving that felines don’t just manage their own grooming – they’re also experts at safeguarding cash.

In a TikTok video shared by @kaos.jr, this feline was caught red-pawed, keeping a tight grip on a few RM10 notes under its paw.

The owner’s attempts to “borrow” the money were met with swift resistance, earning the cat a reputation for being stingy.

“Wow, so stingy, not even lending it for a bit…” the frustrated owner remarked after multiple failed attempts to retrieve the cash.

Netizens couldn’t resist chiming in with witty remarks.

One comment cheekily read, “Don’t touch its money, it’s all saved for her wet food” implying the cat was stashing up for some premium dinner.

The story doesn’t end there. In a follow-up clip, the cat was seen sprawled over a key pouch, blocking access to it as well.

“Can’t even borrow the car,” the owner joked, as if the car belongs to the cat.
