Tottenham are set to appeal Heung-min Son's dismissal during yesterday's 1-1 draw with Everton.
The Daily Star says Spurs will appeal the red card handed to Son for the tackle that led to Andre Gomes' awful injury on Sunday.
Referee Martin Atkinson initially showed a yellow card to the South Korean forward during the 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park.
But after realising the severity of the injury and being spoken to by VAR, he duly changed the yellow to a red card, dismissing the distraught Son, who left the field in tears.
Gomes suffered a fracture dislocation to his right ankle after landing awkwardly, seemingly getting his studs caught in the turf.
