Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro felt the fans were with them for their 2-2 draw with Champions League opponents Club Brugge.

Casemiro, who netted the equaliser, admits it was a bad result.

He said: "That wasn't the result we wanted and that we were looking for. There's no such thing as an easy game. They had two chances in the first half and scored twice. You've got to show the opposition respect. Amongst the negativity, this draw could still give us a lot of hope in the Champions League.

"When you're 2-0 down you become really rushed in your play and end up making mistakes. I didn't sense that the fans were angry, they really got behind us in the second half and right up until the final whistle. It's been a long time since I've seen the fans get behind us like they did tonight."
