Liverpool striker Bobby Duncan is joining Fiorentina amid claims agent Salif Rubie has been cut out of the deal.
The Mirror suggests Rubie, who caused a fierce backlash from Liverpool fans, was not involved as the clubs finally agreed a 1.8m transfer.
Duncan, 18, the cousin of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, is set to sign a three year deal after an acrimonious exit from Liverpool.
Rubie released an explosive statement last week, accusing Liverpool of mentally bullying" and destroying the life" of the forward as he looked to force through a move.
Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards was also accused of ignoring Duncan's mental wellbeing.
Rubie's involvement in the deal was causing a stand-off and it is now going ahead without him.
