Pablo Torre was thrilled to make his LaLiga debut with Barcelona.
The midfielder saw action in the second-half of Barca's 4-0 rout of Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
He later said: "It's a special feeling and I'm very happy.
"I've remembered my family and my friends. It's not easy being at Barcelona, the minutes are valuable. Xavi tells me to play easy, not to lose the ball and try from outside of the area."
Torre, a summer arrival from Racing Santander, has had nine minutes in the Champions League this season and just the one appearance with Barca Atletic.
