Pacheta has been named new coach of Villarreal.
He has been appointed to the end of the season after last week's sacking of Quique Setien.
Full name Jose Rojo Martn, Pacheto was with Real Valladolid last season before leaving after their relegation.
Villarreal has had a difficult start to the season, with three losses and only one victory in the first four matches. They sit 15th place in LaLiga.
Villarreal resume their LaLiga campaign next week against Rayo Vallecano.
