Ah, yes folks, let's talk about PADU, the latest fiasco in a long line of government blunders.

Since its inception, the Central Database Hub has been about as popular as a flat tire on a rainy day. Malaysians, understandably, are not exactly lining up to hand over their personal information on a silver platter.

With just a fraction of the population bothering to update their info, it's safe to say that PADU is about as effective as a screen door on a submarine. And now, with Sarawak throwing a spanner in the works, it seems like Anwar's government might have bitten off more than they can chew.

The Sarawak Government's reservations about PADU's requirements are like a slap in the face to Anwar's administration.

Seeking clarification and a review from the Federal Government is basically a polite way of saying, “What on earth were you thinking?”

Minister Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah's colourful comparison of PADU to 'stripping citizens naked' is both hilarious and painfully accurate.

I mean, asking for detailed personal information like bank accounts and housing loans is like asking for someone's Netflix password on the first date - it's just not done.

Abdul Karim's suggestion to limit such intrusive requests to only those receiving government aid is a stroke of genius.

If PADU is meant to help the poor, then let's focus on them, not turn everyone into an open book for the government to peruse at will.

But hey, who needs privacy when you have a government that's hell-bent on snooping into every nook and cranny of your life, right?

It's not like we have anything to hide, except maybe our Netflix watch history.
