KUANTAN, June 29 — The Pahang State Health Department (JKNP) denies messages that are currently going viral on social media regarding the closure of the Bentong Hospital Haemodialysis Unit.

It said in a statement yesterday that the Bentong Hospital Haemodialysis Unit is still operating as usual, and treatment services to patients are running according to the set schedule without any disruption.

“JKNP understands the concerns of the community, especially patients and relatives who depend on haemodialysis treatment services. The allegations are untrue and are unverified information,” according to the statement.

JKNP also advises the public not to easily believe or spread unverified information and always refer to the official communication channels of the Bentong Hospital, JKNP or the Ministry of Health to obtain accurate information.

According to the statement, JKNP is committed to ensuring the delivery of the best health services to the community and any developments will be communicated through official channels from time to time. — Bernama
